Alpha, I know you emphasise the importance of wetlands to restore water cycles. Have you heard of the 8000 acre Veta La Palma in Southern Spain? Great ecological and economic outcomes of the project.

Thanks for the heads up about Veta La Palma, a great example of how to bring back wetlands. I mentioned that we can use this as an example of how to bring back wetlands to central california https://climatewaterproject.substack.com/p/rehydrating-california-to-prevent#details .

Great to hear. Do you know of other similar projects with both the strong ecological and economical outcomes? I'm convinced that economic projects like this are a fast way to incentivise regeneration and rehydration.

Another project that is ecological and economy oriented is gowing trees as headstones for people to be buried under.

Yes. That's true! Reminds me of the beautiful and moving song by Charlie McGee - https://youtu.be/MN_Texj9CD4

Yes combining ecological with economical would be great to accelerate things.... I am trying to think of other projects which combine both, there must be quite a few such projects....

I hope so. The scale of Veta la Palma of 8000 acres is fantastic and a meaningful impact on the local water cycle. Do you know if anyone has been monitoring water cycle changes there?
