If you would like to know the history, there is a book called "The Natural Step Story". Also heres a video of the founder speaking about Natural Step ... Heres a talk by the founder of the Natural Step in conjunction with Paul Hawken talking about Natural Step https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KSdwLUp13l4
So it looks like this organization doesn’t even exist in the US? I watched the video and I can guess why - the founder was a theorist, not a pragmatist. The work being done by ESG, COP15, TNFD, etc I think will scale much faster.
Paul Hawken did the Natural Step process with a lot of participants in the US, and had them come up with their four steps. As far as I know Natural Step did a lot of work in the US.
Love the use of the white board graphics you include in your essays. I’d missed a few of your earlier essays this year, so thank you for including the links. I’ll have a few specific comments on the posts discussing the California drought/fire/mudslide cycle which I’ll post to those essays.
I really appreciate your help. I am humbly translating ecosystems into stories which I hope will help humans connect to the wonder of how species work together.
Hi Alpha, I love this wrap up. And I'd be very interested to organize a water principles group, especially if we could find a way to have several in person retreats.
Great wrap up, Alpha. My new year's resolution now is to spend more time studying your posts! Love the drawings.
haha, cool...
It would be interesting to learn more about the Natural Step project (I hadn’t heard of them before). Specifically what worked and what didn’t....

Thanks very much for pointing out search engines for our questions!🌱
In addition to elicit.com to search through science papers, there is also paperdigest.org and litmaps.com to help with going through papers.

Absolutely love your graphic!!🌱
thanks for your stories

Awesome, I am happy you like the idea of the water principles group, and want to help with the organization.
